GENERAL INFORMATION
CPT is proud to announce a seminar in Aerodynamics in Cycling. This seminar is open to anyone with an interest in learning more about aerodynamics, time trialing, and balancing power output with aerodynamics. We will cover various positioning; from 200M TT to Ironman distance triathlon. The seminar will be brought to you by the staff at Colorado Premier Training, leaders in aerodynamic consulting in sport.
*All attendees will become "CPT Aero Certified"
**USA Cycling certified coaches will earn 1.75 CEUs for attending
AGENDA
- 1.75 days covering a variety of topics related to aerodynamics in cycling
- 1 hour overview of aerodynamics and understanding how it effects a cyclist, a general overview of measuring power output and an analysis of power output versus aerodynamics (Saturday Morning)
- 4 hours of interactive hands-on wind tunnel testing with real subjects*. (Saturday Morning/Afternoon)
- 1.5 hour group follow-up Q&A session (Saturday Evening)
- 5-6 hours of power output and positional testing (Position Optimization) with real subjects*. Airport runway field testing, weather permitting. (Sunday Morning)
- 1.5 hour group follow-up Q&A session (Sunday Afternoon)
*CPT will be requesting 4 subjects for wind tunnel testing/position optimization at a discounted rate. Please contact us if you have an athlete who would like to be a subject. This subject will get a full analysis and fitting, but discounted as a consolation for having a number of onlookers present.
